I STILL remember our first disgreement and how I grew to watch for your posts - so refreshing after hearing the same old rhetoric, day after day.

You know, after I was banned, I went through the worst crisis, embarrassed, ashamed, thinking I was the only pariah. I wish I'd known back then that people were dropping like flies.

Oh, I'm so sorry catperson. But there were lots of wonderful posters who either got banned or quit. I hated to see it happen. I didn't manage to get banned, but one of my last posts was about MB being the real loser because of all of the behind the scenes attacks and mockery.

And the saddest thing was watching people get targeted by the "in group", while not having any idea what was going on.

Oh definitely. Looking back, I should have seen it. I think the first month I was there, I made the mistake of making a comment like 'this infidelity could be a blessing because you can have an even better marriage, if you don't take it for granted and work to make it better than ever.' I was really trying to help this person see she could have hope, but you'd think I was raping babies or something, the way a certain poster/mod tore into me; she made me feel SO stupid and she was so condescending. I should have seen the signs back then.

There was really no way you could have seen it. Who expects to come to a marriage support board and get viciously attacked?

Actually I admire the posters who got banned. I always just backed down. I like the ones who went out with guns blazing.

Yeah well I never took her *censored* and I gave it back to her wrapped in a pretty ticking package....thus I got banned.Also why you won't find hardly any of my posts from the end.

I didn't get banned, just edited for saying something I KNEW would get me edited I knew it was time for me to leave when I couldn't resist posting things that would get edited.

I simply decided it wasn't worth my time or energy to post at a place I had no respect for.

I see so many names here of people that I knew over on mbers...some I battled with at times...some not. I am curious to see how we get along without the idiocy and baiting that went on over on that board.
I know I have a short memory when it comes to junk like that.
Heck, if 2long and I can see eye to eye, I think there might be hope for rebuilding some bridges!
