People can say all they want to about Stephen Covey. But I first learned of an emotional bank account from this book, 5 years before my husband picked up HNHN.

I love this book on so many levels. Sharpen the Saw is my favorite habit! What's yours?

Oh - except I have to add the best relationship Habit is Seek to understand, then to be understood.

Awesome book! I was going to add it, but you beat me to it! He also has The Seven Habits of Highly Effective Families.

The best analogy he has is the circle of control and circle of influence. No, he's not the only one to say it, but he makes this point more eloquently than most.

I love the sequel book "The Eighth Habit". There was a CD included in my book (first edition), but I think there's a website for the paperback version now. They had short video stories to touch on each section of the book.

There was a story about Charles Dickens, and what inspired him to write "A Christmas Carol". Neat story. Very inspirational.
