Different in the family home to when out socialising.

I wonder what part alcohol plays in this too. I think I am quieter when I am out. J often asks me if I'm ok if we're out in a group. Not that we still attend many things together since he stopped drinking. Actually, I'm quiter in a mixed group but not in girls group grin

Kind of a strange article that I had trouble making sense of... I mean that is one thing I don't like right now is that my husband is funny and upbeat on the outside when he is with everyone else ( though even that is starting to crack and people are telling me how thin and tired he looks)

So the person he is at home is the "real" one... Ok... so now what. I'm not sure what the point of the article was.

I think the point of the article was merely observation and yes, actually we can relate to it and maybe, to some extent, it is normal.

Or, actually, does it just depend on all the personalities involved and how well they know each other?
