When you retire, isn't every day a vacation?

I take that back. ---- PRE- COVID days and transporting grandchildren to/from Hybrid Remote School sessions, retirement meant VACATION DAYS every day.

Hopefully we are headed back to that status soon. My thread on another forum shares a little about my being out of town temporarily.

Retirement, in its early days, is a vacation. But you soon load up your plate again, ‘cause you still have energy that needs spending.

Because, the further I get into retirement, the more involved I’ve gotten in volunteer stuff... community stuff, church stuff and, of course, local grandchildren who weren’t here when I was working.

But the biggest change in how my time is spent is a result of husband retiring!
Can I get an amen?

P.S. I've been posting on a UBB message board for nearly 14 years. I never knew you could double quote in one post without quoting once and then manually moving a second quote via C/P methods. I know we have some Tech suggestions but I think it might be nice to have a "short-cuts" tutorial posted on our Tech section on UBB board posting hints and suggestions for things like that. Does anyone know of another site that has one we could beg, borrow, or outright steal?
