It has its ups and downs lol. Currently I am choosing to acknowledge that for me there is not such thing as a happy life, just happy moments, and I needt o appreciate those moments.

Like right now, I'm at the office, oi one is here, its peaceful, and I can goof off on MA wink

Lil, I'm impressed with your new career choice. We were so comforted by excellent, empathetic people when Jim died. To this day when we bump into one of the people who were helpful to us at the cemetery, we get big hugs. (Pre-pandemic, anyway) It means a lot.

Since my thought about old happy times last week, I've noticed more....contentment?..... between H and I/. Felt more apprecieated. I wonder if it was there all along and I just forgot to look.

Mimi!

Yes, MIMI!

How cool is it to have her dropping by.

Flamingo and I still celebrate on the 4th every month. For the new marriage that arose from the ashes I created of the old one.

Not to say it has been a cake walk for Flamingo, there have been moments, (PTSD?) but the future looks good.

Glad you are able to drop in Mimi!

Finding an ethical way to deal with pain, fear, disappointment etc..is part of the experience of becoming a stronger person...one who is driven by compassion instead of compulsion...ie I have a legitimate reason to be stressed out right now...however, my response to it will determine how others percieve me, and myself. Hi SFB,

Yes it is great to see Mimi and Lil and other "old timers on MB and MA" again.

Hang around a spell if you can.
